I first wanted a Lobster, but they will not fit in a 10, 20 or 30 gallon tank. Also the only tank anyways with any room is my 20 gallon. I am now thinking Ghost shrip or fresh water Clams. I also may have a problem in that tank, I have Frogs. I am thinking the Frogs may eat the shrimp or clams.

What do you think of Ghost Shrimp and Clams?
What do you think of them in a 20 Gallon tank?
Do you think they will or will not be eaten by my 4 frogs?

Be sides the 4 Frogs in the tank I have 2 Neon Tetras that I do not think will be a problem.

Didn't notice my adf's bothering the ghost shrimp I had in the tank with them. The biggest downside I find with ghost shrimp is that they are brought in as feeders and don't live very long. I am not sure what their lifespan should be, but mine never make it more than a couple of months. They are cool buggers though. You might want to check out petshrimp. com if there aren't more shrimp knowledgeable people around.

I bought 4 Ghost Shrimp today. Put them in the tank with the 4 frogs. The frogs are not huge, but not small. A big mistake. One of the frogs is already attacking/chasing after it.

Ha only paid $.57 per shrimp so if they get eatten they get eattern.

I also saw a 3'' Lobbster at the store and wanted to buy it, but I know it will get 6''-1' long and grow out the tank. What do you think?

How do your silver dollars fare with the gouramis. I have thought about adding silver dollars to my thirty gallon with gouramis. Do you know how big they get?

Both Silver Dollars are around 3-inches. They can get to a size of 3 1/2 inches. I have never seen any problems between my Silver tetras and my Gouramis.
