New tank

Besides 2 angelfish dying today I did have a good find at a yard sale this weekend. I bought a pretty new 5.5 gallon tank, light, hood and whisper filter for 6.00 Saturday, I figure I saved at least a good 35.00 to 40.00 if I went out and bought one, which I probably wouldn't do but for that price I sucked it up very quickly. It now has brown gravel in it with my male betta, he was in a 5 gallon acrylic tank but he looks better now on the sand setting underneath the 29 gallon in a glass tank.

Ya, I was about done for the day when I saw one more yardsale sign and desided to take a look. When I got out of the truck and as I was looking around I saw it and asked how much for it and they said 6.00, could have gotten it for even less but 6.00 ain't bad for a good setup like that. I wish it was a 55 gallon setup for 6.00 I'd be head over heals over that but hey when you find a great deal get it. I go every Saturday morning it's kind of a break and relaxing to get out before the wife and 2 girls wake up and I usually can get some awesome deals for little to nothing. That's how I've gotten all or most of my tanks, I got 2 of the aquascene 5 tanks at yardsales for 1.00 each the brand Petsmart makes and unknown to me they have a lifetime warrantee so I took them into Petsmart when I lived in Illinois and was able to get 2 brand new tank setups in the box with filter, light and everything (around 40.00) value each for just trading in a tank with no hood or light. Deals are out there and you can find them if you look hard enough.
