feel free to add, subtract fish.... I dont know anything about most of these yet, but b4 I reaserch i want to see if they coulfd all live toghether!

ps. if I wanted to go with some live plants, what should I use as "gravel"? would these fish eat them all?

3 dwarf gouramis is hit or miss on if they will get along in a tank that is 30g or smaller. Gouramis and bettas in the same tank are hit or miss too.

I really wouldn't go with a BN in a tank that small.

The dwarf gouramis would fight unless they were all females or a male and 2 females.

Not so sure about the dwarf frogs, I have never kept them. We need more opinions on this part of the stocking.

Otherwise looks pretty good.

I would go with either a trio of dwarf gouramis (1 male, 2 females) OR 3 female dwarf gouramis OR 3 female bettas. Mixing any more than those can be risky. The dwarf frogs should be fine with everything you listed.

I am not so sure about the female beta, as she might get aggressive although male betas are the ones to worry about. I think that when your dwarf gouramis are adults, they mightt try to eat the dwarf frogs.. The rest of your stock seems great though.

Also, if a pleco of any kind is going to go in a 20g, it must be long. If you are willing to move him to atleast a 20g long within months, he will be fine.

bettas and platys dont mix, the platys often get misunderstood by the betta as another betta since they look the same, and the betta ends up attacking the platy

ok... so how about this:
3 gouramis
5 platys
4 dwarf frogs

is there any pleco that could get along in a 20g?
it is 24x 9x15

any other good fish?

would the gouramis really eat the frogs!
the frogs are about 1-1.5 inch
and the gouramis about 2 inch

Perfect stock list!
About the gouramis eating the frogs, it is just a thought, and I am just saying that they could possibly get eaten. If you really want the Dwarf frogs, I think it would be fine if you got the gouramis and the dwarf frogs on the same day and time. This way, they won't think of them as immediate food, but they will grow up with eachother. Look for some young dwarf gouramis so the gouramis can grow up with the frogs.

I've always wanted some ADF. I'm too scared to get them right now though since I only have a 5.5g with a betta (poor ADF would be lunch in no time flat), and I'm not sure how they'd fair in my 10g. I reckon it's a possibility. I don't know.

I still think you are going to be taking a big risk with 3 dwarf gouramis in a 20g tank.

With 1 male and 2 females it should be fine. Just don't get more than one male. I really don't think they'd try to eat the frogs either.

3 in a 20g is kinda pushing it unless its a 20g long, if you go with 3 make sure you have lots of floating plants
