What could I use?
I have German Blue Rams with Neons, I have a white substrate. I want my fish to feel more safe and comfrotable, I want a dark background to make my fish stand out more and look more colorful but I also want to give my tank a deep distant visual effect, has anyone accomplished this? I was thinking of taping some dark car window tint to the back, would that look good?

Please give me advice, suggestions and some of your own experiences.

My 125 is tinted with a limo tint and looks great...why tape it? Just put it on like its supposed to be

I just took a plastic trashbad and stuck it to the tank wall with vaseline and cooking oil. Naturally there would be creases so it looks kind of like a cave. And dirt cheap too.

I took black paint and painted the back. What you can do is like paint some dark green lines on the back to look like plants and after it dries, go over it w/ a black coat.
