Hey all,

My tank is nearly cycled, my ammonia goes from ~2.5 ppm to 0 in a day, nitrites are declining (spike was off the charts) and my nitrates are increasing. Once my ammonia and nitrites are zero I'll be heading to the LFS to stock up!

I would like to put a school of about 10 neons, 2 german blue rams, and a bristlenose in there once the cycling process is over. I know the bristlenose and tetras will get along well, but will the rams and tetras get along ok? Any advice is welcome!

I have two rams in with about 6 neon tetras. They get along fine.

I'm glad to hear that!

Dont add all the fish in at once. I'd say wait a couple days inbetween adding the different kinds of fish you want.

So add the tetra school, then in another week or so add the rams and bristlenose?

yep...you got it.

I too have heard that tetras and Blue Rams will do just fine together. I've been thinking of adding one to my 10 gallon (which already has 6 Cardinal Tetras). I would be pushing the envelope a bit on overstocking, so I'm going to hold off on that for now to make sure my water parameters stay consistent and that I'm dedicated enough to keep up with extra water changes:c3:
