Nice Jaguar Cichlid.... Man they are cool looking. That's a great pic too. I need to get my pic taking skills down. :)

What size tank is it in... they get huge. Is she all by herself in there?

she is currently in a 75 gallon with a gold and green severum, jack dempsey, and a small male Dovii. so far they all get along great, but i am keeping a VERY close eye on the dovii.

I can tell what you like.... LOL Do think it is going to get crowded in there someday. Is the dovi a wolf cichlid? Can I see a picture of the entire tank? That has to be a sight to see. :)

it wont get crowded in "there"! lol! "there" is always going to grow with the fish! they will always be provided with proper enclosures and as soon as the dovii "wolf cichlid" starts to be aggressive he will be moved to his own tank...this i'm afraid is inevitable. at the moment i do not have any nice full tank shots, but i will try getting some and i will post them when i do.

Absolutely stunning fish. Goes to show your love and good care has made her a happy fish. You might want to check with William to see if he needs a photo of a jag for his profiles. This one would be awesome as well as POTM next month!

Gorgeous fish & pics of them. You like the big ones huh, lol !? Wish I had the room for some big tanks and the time & energy to take care of them. Not sure I'd have really big fish though, even if I had the room. I'm kinda embarrassed to say this but.... I think big fish are kinda spooky, even though some (like yours) sure are pretty. Maybe it has something to do with the movie Jaws lol. Thanks for sharing the pics.

i do love keeping larger fish species, but i have lots of little ones as well. i just think the larger ones look so majestic. in the end they are all great!

Nice.. thanks for posting up those other pics for me. They are truly gorgeous fish. You have totally changed my view of the jag... they are so amazing looking.... incredible markings and coloration... and the dovi and severum are amazing. The only thing you're mising in there is some large mouth bass. LOL Do you feed live food? If you do, I bet that is quite a site. GULP!

i dont feed live foods as part of their regular feeding regimen, but they do get an occassional live treat. when you throw in live food...it's literally gone before it even knows what's going, but i do try to stray away from live foods in general.

i am really excited about the dovii! i think his colors for being this young are really showing well! glad you enjoyed the pics and thanks for the nice comments!
