I thought that both of my blue gouramis were male, but one of them seems to be fatter than the other... They don't have a nest or anything so I don't think it's pregnant if it is a female. I just noticed it getting fat after I put them back together again. Do you think if they were a male and female they would have already had babies? I've had them for months and I think they are adults. I might try and get pics so you all and tell me if they are male and male or what.

Yep pics would be good. Gourmis are egg-layers, so if anything she would be full of eggs. As well they would need a specific environment to create a bubble-nest and breed, so just because you don't have fry doesn't mean they aren't a male-female pair.

Also, sometimes they get really dark, like they change colors. Are they supposed to do this? They turn from blue to like a dark grey striped type deal. Probably post pics today.
