Everything is finally going good

We added our last barb to the main tank a few weeks ago and now it looks like everything is finally going good. We haven't lost a fish for quite a while :19: We are keeping up on the weekly water changes and we are changing the white filter pad in our Eheim filter once a month and changing approximately half of the substrate every 3 months. The fish are all healthy and happy and so are we - yeah!

congrats on the well-being and health of the tank. One recommendation: You dont have to change 1/3 of the substrate per month, you only have to vacuum it (1/3). this will save you money, and possibly all the trouble of taking it out and replacing it?

sorry, I read the numbers wrong, same idea anyhow, you dont have to replace the substrate, unless you really prefer to, there's no harm, just a less work not too.
