Out of all the things I have read about Gouramis

What are the "long whisker" things? What does it do? I see him movin them around so are they like feelers to help find things under him?

Well feelers are just that - feelers :c2:

Gourami's in the wild can inhabit shallow murky muddy waters and the feelers enable them to maintain mobility in the dark waters...they can also feel out each other, obstacles and sense the bottom in the case of shallow waters.

cool beans, I wasn't sure if that is what it was or just "decoration" on their bodies. I thought it looked like he was moving them around like feelers but I wasn't sure.
