I'm thinking about getting a lawnmower blenny for my 30 gal. SW. It has cycled and has been set up for about three months with only a few hermits, astrea, three chromis, an emerald crab, and a good amount of LR and a little caulerpa.

The thing is, is that I've done a lot of reading on the blenny and have heard of many reports that it is difficult to feed. Being that my tank is somewhat new, the algae growth isn't that prolific, (although my LR is looking excellent).

If anyone that has had experience with the lawnmower blenny, could you please indicate what he preferred to have in his diet? I've heard anything from spirulina flakes, to algae sheets, to brine, and other live foods.

all that you mentioned was good....but they do need algae. You can supplement his diet once he wipes out your algae, with Nori or Seaweed sheets.

mines the easiest fish i have to take care of, he picks at algae during the day, and eats frozen food and pellets when i throw them in
