yeah, I just looked up another one and found him. lol answered my own question..LOL! he's a Polypterus senegalus (senegal bichir). I was looking at another thread and got interested in the "dinosaur eel" that they were talking about and when I looked it up, sure enough, it was Falcor. LOL! Thanks so much all!! Im so excited to know now bc I WANT ONE! LOL!! :)

I think they get pretty big. Be sure your friend keeps him well fed or he will become aggressive!

Very neat little fish. I had one for a while but he never came out so I got rid of him. He gets about a foot long and he needs to be fed basically pieces of silver sides every other day.

Oh trust me, he's well fed but he is also aggressive already. She has him in with her oscars and he likes to throw them around from time to time when they get in his face...LOL! When she first put him in the tank, all of her oscars went right to/for him and were hovering around him and he stood up like a rattle snake and started snaping at them just like a snake. they backed off and all is well till one has a DUH! moment and gets back in his face...lmao!
