They do make one yes, however their pellet food is far better. Flake food is not as good as pellets IMO

Hikari all the way, best fish food out there I think, although many come very close.
Everybody has their own opinions, in addition to Hikari I also feed NLS and omega one, both very good foods, and of course the occasional frozen foods like brine shrimp.

I agree with ILuvMyGoldBarb. The flakes aren't as nutritious as pellets...that is what I've heard. I feed Omega One. I was thinking of trying the NLS but with shipping the average size bottle of the Thera A was going to run about $18 and tha't a little steep for me. I feed my betta the Hikari Bio Gold.

I use the Hikari floating pellets (I like them bc they come in like 5 different sizes for different aged/sized fish & my oscars go nuts for them), the wardley shrimp pellets (sinking) & frozen brine shrimp.

Yes, low quality foods have a lot of fillers and other less digestible ingredients. These are not absorbed into the body and pass out the other end. As they break down they cause ammonia and contribute to even more nitrates.
I feed New Life Spectrum exclusively to all my fish. You will get the best results with it when it is the only thing fed. They do not need variety when fed NLS, all it will do is dilute the nutrition in NLS and the diet will no longer be balanced.
She may not be as hungry or the others are too aggressive for her. She may also be holding either eggs or babies.
What size tank?
How many fish?
Are they all mbuna African cichlids?

29g
2 zebras
2 kenyi's
I know one kenyi is male and one is female...but the zebras i dont know how to tell...I know this tank is aparently too small...but i plan on getting a larger one eventually...

With so few fish in there it is very easy for more aggressive ones to pick on less aggressive ones. It is easy to focus on the less dominant individuals.
