My new fish Agent Booth Ive had for 2 weeks.
When I got him immediately I noticed he seemed listless, didnt swim, his gills didnt move(!) and he wasnt eating. Instead of returning him (never!) I cared for him and treated him for external parasites. After 6 days a hearty appetite and a happy swimmer returned, however I continued treatment. I just put him in a new 2G/10L tank which hes been exploring but one thing Ive never seen him do is flare his fins so what I did was place a mirror on the outside of his tank and watched what would happen.
He can only flare half his face. Is there something wrong? Could it still be traces of the external parasite? Or is it something else? He is not being medicated at this point, should I continue another treatment?
