I added shrimp a couple days ago and haven't seen them since. I been looking and looking, there's not too much in my tank and there's alot of open space. I have Blue rams, Neons and Corys. I can't find my shrimp so I'm assuming my BLue rams ate them. Are Blue Rams known to eat shrimp?

All cichlids eat shrimp... no matter what the size of the cichlid... I have even seen baby rams eat a shrimp leg for leg <uurghz>

It happens and now you know. I have a shrimp tank and planning on adding some cardinals or neons. I'm hoping as small as these fish are, they might not bother with the shrimp.

I had shrimp in with Cardinals, Zebra Danios, and Glolight Tetra Hobbs no problems..... Small tetras are great tank mates...

Sorry about the shrimp Carlos. Cichlids are definetely not a shrimps best tankmate... :11:

I had Amano's, they had very bright red dots on them, brighter than others I've seen.

Oh man, you guys won't believe this. I found all three shrimp today hiding on top of my moonlight which is attached to the top ofthe wall in my tank. I thought they were dead but I gently touched one and it barely moved, they seem injured or very freightened. I managed to net 2 out and moved them into my 20g. The third managed to escape me and I couldn't find it, I'll try again later. They've been there for 2 or 3 days luckily I found them or they would've starved.

Good news! They should recover nicely, if they eat.
