Cherry Barb Swimming Wierd! HELP!

ok my cherry barb is swimming wierd, kinda lopsided see the videos they will probably be very blurry but i hope you can get the idea. No signs of disease, how old do cherry barbs live for? I know she isnt that young she was in the lfs alone for months. Much bigger than my other cherry barbs. But i dont think they die that young.

It looks like the shimmys, but Im not sure at all. Maybe you forgot to add water conditioner? Or maybe she has some internal parasite. Try raising the temp to 82 for a few days and do a water change and see if it helps.

Last w/c was last saturday so 5 days ago. temp is already at 83 for the rams! should i do a w/c right now? how big of one? and how do you cure the shimmys?

some stores sell a "shimmy block" that cures shimmy, shimmy is a nervous system disorder

Yep, looks like shimmy.

It is fairly easy to cure early on, but later it gets difficult.

There are tons of shimmy cures, pick one up that looks good.

Also, I'd slowly drop the temp to 80 or so, up your water changes and gravel vacs. Really what you want to do is put as little stress as possible on the fish.
