What is the minimum tank size for these? Would a 75g with minimum decor on bottom work?

For a male that is by himself that would be minimum. The only think is keeping water quality super high, water chemistry stable, and getting them on something besides live and frozen. You usually have to keep water in a trash can and make sure it is the same as the tank's water and use thet for water changes.

75g would be alright, 125g would be better

Ditto with ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ with above posts

a bigger tank would be ideal but you could have a species tank and keep one in the 75 gallon
