Update on Charlie

The Gourami is doing great! He is loving the floating plants and moved some of the betta bulbs to connect the floaters with some plants and plus java fern is in there... HE is shy in one picture lol but ussually fairly curious!

some how devoloped hair algae somehow again and i thought i was down on feeding enough this stuff is a bugger :( makes the pic look not so good

I wish my plants were pearling... I have such low light for the tank and its no good! The only chance i get of pearling is when i do water changes... I think i need some type of ferts but havent been messing around with it right now... Need new lights and things

No recommendations from me... My plants are growing but no pearling yet. ;) I have 2 wpg and use Flourish ferts.

Mandy mine will pearl but very rarely. When i do water changes it sometimes pearls but i have .67 wats per gallon so not very much...

not to bust on your hopes ,but that "pearling after a water change comes from air bubbles in the new water.it happens in mine as well.Ive never seen tru pearling without co2 being used.Your plants do look nice though,your doing a fine job with low light.

Thanks but i make sure i dont watch the bubbles lol... I agree with you there they only pearled like with a water change out of tons of them it has never happened again..

I cant wait to get a co2 system and new lights :(
