Red Parrots

Just have to say how kewl these fish are..i saw some today at the lfs...

I also saw some called hap alhi...?? spelling? THey are really nice looking.

Im new that this so they all look interesting, for a community tank i like some of the tetras, the black skirted and the ghost...something...

Anyways just had to get that out! I was too excited about all these cool fish, and i want a bigger tank already so i can have all of them LOL!

yep, bloodparrots are cool fish, i have one in my 90g. he gets along with everyone

The red ones (non-dyed) have a name I can't remember. I'll have to find it for us. They're parrots but a different variety. I hope you are not looking at those that are dyed!

Those that are deep red when young are called the Purple Blood Parrots. (should have remembered that one)

They can appear so dark red that they can appear to be nearly purple.

Hmm the ones a saw are deep red...not like the pics cocoa put up.
