I want to delete my ugly IE desktop stationary and can't find where it's stored. All my desktop pictures are from webshots and I have great fish photos. Anyone want neat desktop pictures, Webshots is the place to find them and up to 5 a day FREE.

However, in the meantime I want to delete IE's junk.

After going into Microsoft, I have learned the only themes that can be deleted are the ones you have added yourself as wallpaper or screensavers. Guess they think there's is so great that no one will ever want to part with them.

Hobbs-

To delete those Microsoft files, you probably have to use an account with Administrator privileges. If you have Windows XP or 2000, an Administrator account should have been setup when Windows was installed.

From [Only Registered Users Can See Links.]

You can delete themes you created, themes you installed from a CD-ROM, or themes you downloaded from the Web. You cannot delete the themes provided by Windows.

Thank you everyone for the tips but the only themes that can be deleted are the ones self installed. None of the Microsoft themes can be deleted. The delete button is even blanked out.

Well, since you can't delete them...just ignore them and use ones you have loaded that you like better.

You are making this much too easy. lol
I wanted to set my desktop to change every 24 hours to all the pretty fish I have uploaded. I don't want Microsofts ugly desktop themes to appear so will just do it the hard way. Mannually. puff puff pant pant
