What would this be?

I had a fish a few months ago, and in a day, it had little bubble things all over him, then a few days after he died.. what would cause this? I think its something with the water because are water isnt that good.

You should definatley test your water. It almost sounds like blisters on your fish (extreme acidic or alkaline conditions could cause this).

Start by testing pH, ammonia and nitrite levels. You should also consider if something can have been added to the water by mistake.

Make an immediate water change of about 30-50% if you discover anything wrong.

From your descripiton it can be a type of pox Afected fishes can become twisted or die Fualty diet and lack of vitamins are likely cause. May heal under good conditons.
