I'd be honored.

Poor parrots got pretty sick looking on their last food. Got them back on the Hikari and they are all better and colored up great.

The solid colored one is the male.

This one shows the girl a bit better.

She is getting ready to spawn and he's going nuts. Tried to attack the rag I wiped the glass off with. LOL

It's hard for me not to just put 4 in a 55 gallon but these two are a mated pair and it might not work out too hot. The "plan" is for these to go in a 75/90 with a severum and my Silver Dollars.

My daughter got a blood parrot and said it wasn't eating the flake food she had so I gave her some of my New Life Spectrum sinking pellets. That was before I read about the trouble Lady Hobbs had. The same thing happened to hers. It loved the NLS but started losing it's color so I got her some Hikari and it's color is returning. I still love and use NLS but I guess it's not the food for parrots.
Great looking fish Lady Hobbs!

Same food I tried and they were bleached out and sick looking within 3 weeks. I put them back on the Hikari and their color was restored in two weeks. I give a small amount of flakes but mostly blood worms, the Hikari floating pellets, cichlid sticks and staple (a veggie pellet.)

I wish Hikari has a semi-floating pellet so they weren't eating from the water surface but I also don't want pellets that sink as it just settles into the gravel. But for me, a picture says a thousand words and these fish will not get NLS again. As it turned out, they were my only fish who would even eat it. Go figure.

OOPS...Hikari is a semi-floating pellet!
