The good news is that we added an albino and green barb into our main tank yesterday and they are doing fine. The bad news is that when I got back from my hike this afternoon, one of our tiger barbs was dead behind the sponge filter. Since we thought we were done with adding any more fish to our main tank, we took the sponge filter out of the Q tank and put in the main tank to keep the bacteria alive. I'm not sure if the tiger barb just died and ended up floating behind the sponge filter or if he actually got behind it and couldn't get himself out. I will have to talk to my husband and see if we just forget about getting another tiger barb since we already have 8 barbs in the main tank and that is a big enough school. I really hope he doesn't want to get another barb, I think we are fine the way we are.

Well Its a bad idea to put a quarintine spoung back into the main tank unless you boiled it to kill any bacteria that it had on it from being quarintined, even if your fish didnt show any signs of being sick they could have carried something on them from being in the lfs.
