Hikari Sinking Wafers = Cat Treats?

Is this nuts or what? I dropped some Hikari sinking wafers on the floor when shaking them out of the bag to feed the fish. One of cats ran over and ate some of them. :hmm3grin2orange: I couldn't stop laughing...I wonder how the fish will find the cat treats LOL

lol nice fins and fur! My dog loves hikari algea wafers lol! She thinks they are way better then here treats. Same way too, fell out of my hand and she was waiting... they just smell way to good for her!!

LOL! That's funny, maybe it's a typo on the package and they were really meant for cats, not catfish!

The question is...are they healthy for cats and dogs? They contain some fish, and bakery products, a little spirinula and some vitamins...so maybe they are. My cories love them anyway!

haha - my dog hasn't had the privilege of trying any since I haven't dropped them on the floor. Hopefully she won't!

Our 4 cats go crazy whenever I feed the fish, and they've never even tried them! They just smell them and think it's for them. They'll come over to the fish tank and hang around when they know it's feeding time.

Even the veggie flakes are very popular. I took some of the flakes out one day and turned my back on the container while I was crushing them for the fry, and then turned back to find one of our cats licking the flakes!

But have you tried NLS for your cat...I hear it improves coloring even more than the Hikari :laugh1blue:

My cats once actually got to them and started chewin through the bag to get them before I found out and got it off of them!

My dog would run over every time I fed the fish to see if I had dropped any on the floor. I don't think he liked it but you know how a dog is....they will eat anything so they are not left out.

I'm now also noticing that any time I go to feed the fish, I have both cats with me...not sure if they're wanting a dry pellet/wafer treat or something a little fresher :hmm3grin2orange:

Of course :) Lady hobbs but i think my dog really has a passion for fish food. I think it all started when i gave her a tubifex worm cube and ever since she has been in love :1luvu:
