Goldfish *bites lip*

Ok.. plz noone scream at wat I'm bout to say, I am simply asking...

Ok, their are these beautiful *I* think, 6.5L tanks at (They look very big though, so I'm probably very wrong) that are very cheap at a shop.

I was thinking of getting a goldfish and then growing it out. After it gets too big, it'll be either in our plastic pond, our pond/dam or given to our neighbour who has a beautiful goldfish pond.

Wat are sum small species of goldfish?

I particulary like the black moors, and they r very cheap for only 2 bucks for a baby :)

No, you can't keep a goldfish in 6.5 litres. It will stunt its growth.

But at K-mart (or maybe it was Big W) they have a 70 litre tank for about 200 dollars. Tanks don't have to cost that much.

I agree, a goldfish needs at least a 20g and then 10g more for every goldfish.

Really Some PPL do go Overboard with advertisments putting GoldFish on 6.5L tank Boxes, Getting PPLs hopes up they can put them in there!!!!

a 10g (about 36l) is the bare min. for a growout
