How do I feed mine? I put some NLS in there and when one came over it tried it and swam away. I have some strings of algae that I am about to throw away. Should I put that in there for them? If I need to, I am just worried because I have slow growers in there and they can't compete with algae.

I am going to get a lot more shrimp, so if I have to put pellets in how many? And if an algae tablet is sufficient, how much? 1/4? 1/2?

they absolutely love algae, my cherries eat any type of food I put in the tank

I just dropped several shrimp pellets into my java moss because that's where my shrimp hang out - they're having fun eating now.

(I know the shrimp pellets are meant for shrimp to eat - but they work)

Just about any sinking pellet will do. We have algae wafers, carnivore pellets and shrimp pellet and they all eat them. Don't forget that they'll also pick off the food left over from the fish.

If you're talking about your 12g ... yeah, get a lot more shrimp.

Yup as other said above, sinking pellets will do fine

Okay. I will just try and see what they like.
