blenny has we holes on hi face

hi there we got a new saltwater tank and iv just noticed our wee bi-coloured bblanny has wee holes round his face .is it anything 2 majorly worry about?

Can you post some pics of the holes? I've never heard of this but it may help someone identify any problems.

as i was trying to catch my wee blenny, we found what had got him and i got the bigest fright of my life as a huge brisltle worm came out to greet us .and wev spent the whole day trying to catch the horrable looking worm

Sounds like HITH disease to me. (Hole in the head.) Thought to be from not enough nutrition and also suggested that it might be due to using charcoal.

There are medications to treat this condition so I would get some and also make sure he is getting a good balanced fish food.

I wouldn't worry about the bristleworm. They are great detritivores and a real asset to your tank. There are a few different species of them and only 1 is a risk to your corals and that kind is relatively rare in the hobby.
