It just hit me last night that while I was feeding my discus frozen blood worms that I have not seen any "Live Blood Worms" for sale in any lfs I have been to in the last couple of years. Back in the mid 80's there were a couple of stores I used to pick them up for my fish. Do any of the lfs around you sell them?

Thanks in advance

Most LFS carry them here as well as White Mosquito Larvae, Tubifex, Daphnia and Artemia - every thursday and friday they can be freshly bought. I would never touch live tubifex and rarely feed live blood worms .

The blood worms I used to buy as a treat. I think if I look through some of my junk boxes I still might be able to find the feeder I used.

There's a bloke here in Aust who sells freeze-dried ones by mail.

I have a hard enough time finding regular food lol... I have to get my Hikari from BigAls as everyone around here has jumped on the NLS Bandwagon. They only stock normal Hikari products. I have to get all my freezedried stuff online. The only thing live I can get is crickets. I wish we had a great all around fishstore.

Nothing live around here that I know of. There is a store that is just a bit over a half an hour away that I haven't looked at yet. They may have something since they also sell live bait.
