Balloon Rams with Blue Rams??

Ok i went to the lfs today and saw three fat round rams . They look exactly similar to blue rams except they are round and have long and thick anal fins. I bought one . They were all males . My question is , Can i breed it with the ordinary blue ram?

I'm trying to figure that out too. I just got a GBR for my BR and he's been showing interest in her but I can't really tell what's going on at the moment since she is still recovering from the move.

My Balloon Ram is fitting in with my 4 GBR's, he's even dominant over 2 younger GBR's. I noticed when I had my Balloon Ram with 1 single GBR he wasn't happy. The GBR would constantly chase him and my Balloon ram would stay in a corner and barely swim. Now that I added a few younger GBR's my Balloon ram is looking healthy and colorful.
