What would you say would be the minimum tank size for 1 green tree frog?? Or should they be kept in groups of 2+??

Not sure, but the taller the better. You need to stack sticks up like branches so they can climb.

If I could do it again, I would put mine in a much taller one, just so there are many levels for him to climb to. mine is a 45g wide, so its only about 17in tall, about 5ft off my floor. plenty of branches and such for him to climb up. Has a few favorite spots, only one thats at the very top, the rest are kind of in the middle area.

You only have 1 green tree frog in there??

I have 2 american toads in there, for the sole reason of gobbling up the crickets he doesnt get. I have to put 2 dozen in there for him to get a couple. For 1 tree frog, a terrarium would be cheaper to go bigger, I would maybe put like 2 or 3 in a 20 gallon tall. get a decent light, clean soil and try to plant the bottom. keep a little pond for them too. if that doesnt keep you up on the watering, the plants will.

But, if all you want is the one, then a 10g should be plenty.

Would a 5gish tall tank work?? It is really tall and is still fairly wide and long. It would give the frog lots of room to climb on the glass and roam around. What do you think?? To small?? Go bigger??

EDIT- it would only be 1 frog.
