Sick Fish

Okay I had a tank once where my fish got a white substance on it. What was it? I think it was fungi of some sort it eventually killed it v.v It happened to my goldfish and sorta spread through the tank...

I’m sorry but you will have to give us a little more info that that for us to make a good diagnosis. Fungus does however sound likely but I can't rule out a few other diseases.

Well they were fresh water fish. Had a filter in the tank. Some of the egdges of the white fungus turned a shade of blue green...

I had this before, dont know what it is though, luckly only one of the fish had it and it died from it.

Exactly...maybe it was something in the water

Actually this can be Lymphocystis which makes this whitsh subtances and will kill the fish. The fish loses wheight and these white substance look caluiflower like.The things look caluiflower like growths.
