Ordered more fish

I stopped by my fave LFS on my way home from work today and ordered 2 more discus. I should have them in about three weeks. I can't wait.

Sweet deal..... Three weeks are they coming in the mail or from a breeder taht has some and they are just not ready yet to go out????

The order will go in tomorrow and then they will take a week or so for the supplier to get them, he then quarentines them for 2 weeks.

is it usual for LFS to order fish? Do they not usually keep that kind? I guess i just get the cheaper fish so don't know much about it.

I liked the look of some red pencil tetra but haven't seen them at the LFS...maybe they'll order a large group?

Nice! make sure u give us some pics when u get em! As for the lfs, good ones will order fish on request punisher, but some will write it down and then throw it in the trash can when u walk out. Its hit or miss, call around ur area and see who does special orders

Congrats Capt'n! I really would like Discus, Cara even got me a tank for xmas just for them, but I ended up putting a sting ray in it. I may still go out and get one for the tank though. Keep us updated! Are they as hard as everyone makes them out to be?
