I have had a goldfish for almost 2 months and I'm wondering if it is safe for feeding. Any ideas? He doesnt seem to have anything wrong and looks healthy.

I have a little goldfish that was I got for putting in my 10g to make sure all the chlorine was taken care of. I still have him and this was about 2 months ago. I am giving him to my Flavus Cichlids.

If he's been in your tank for two months without signs of illness i'd say he's probably fine. Unless anything else has been added recently that could have brought something in...but otherwise a 2 month quarantine (basically what you've had) should be fine.

Edit: so what's going in the tank you're taking the goldfish out of?

The tank had chlorine poisoning. I cleaned it and wanted to make sure it was fine for other fish and thats what the goldifhs was for.
