I didn't want to threadjack Tigerbarbs thread, so I did this one. I remember awhile ago, some of us were talking about the spots on Common Pleco's eyes, and were discussing the reason behind it.
Well, I've read somewhere that it's like an Iris in our eye. It will actually contract and dilate to allow more or less light in the eye. I read this awhile ago, and can't remember where, but have wanted to share it with you guys for awhile now to see what you thought. Just now remembered to post it!
