White clouds are cold water, bettas should be in heated tanks. I wouldn't mix them.

I have read they are cold water but the more people I come into contact with say to keep the temp around 70-76 degrees...The will tolerate colder water but my lfs says not to keep them colder due to their tollerace to disease greatens the colder it gets. And actually they hid more when the water temp was below 70 when I turned my heater off. Now the temp is at 74 and they are very active and eating, not hiding at all.
Now as far as a betta...not sure yet until I look them up what the temp they like to be at. I will most likely will be picking up a 29 gallon at the end of the week too so then this betta would have its home all to itself too. But I felt terrible this betta was the only one at Walmart with no love.
