I was cleaning out a fish closet and ran across a package of those 14-day fish feeders. I have no idea of why I ever bought them but think I grabbed them once thinking IF an emergency should ever arise, I can drop one of those in my tank and take off. That was over 3 years ago and here they are still.

I thought last night, what the heck, let the loaches nibble of it for a bit then toss the thing out. Well, my fish swam around and around it for hours and not once took a nibble on it. Nor all day long today. I just looked in the tank and one of my loaches is sleeping on top of it!

:hmm3grin2orange: Boy, those things must really be good.

Lol, I always wondered about those. Now I know they don't work. That would have been the best photo.

good to know. I was considering those as an alternative to having my neighbor babysit for me while I'm away for 10days

Could it be due to mine being 2 years old? LOL I've heard before they make a mess of your tank but I knew I'd be here to take them out so give it a whirl. I tossed it out already.
