I have snails!! :( Can you tell from the pics what they are? It looks like 2-3 different kinds? Will they hurt my plants?

they look like pest snails did u buy them or how did u get them? I don't know if they will hurt your plants but i have a ton of them and they help clean under and between my rocks. Sometimes they are stuck to plants when u buy them.

I can send in the "Clown Loach Death Squad" if you wish.

Yes they came on the plants. I've never had them like this before. Super annoying! The Squad would be great thanks. ;)

lol sorry it's not funny that u have them and don't want them if u want them out i would take them out asap they breed like crazy! More than guppies lol! i like the squad comment is why i am laughing. I know if u do end up with to many a freshwater puffer will eat them and it's good for there teeth... Hope U get rid of them if u don't want them

If they are in the 35 gal tank in your signature, a couple of yo yo loaches would take care of them nicely. They are also nice fish that are nice additions to a community tank.

my clown loaches completely demolished the entire race of snails trying to make a living in my 40g. Of course now, I have to get them a suitable tank for their future size, but I suppose in reality, if you know somebody with a few clowns you can "borrow" them as a clean up crew.
Sorta like how I have my American flag fish that completely destroy algea, they live in their own tank, but I'll move them to my tanks that need a little cleaning up, their like my own personally aquatic molly maid! its great.

These snails won't eat your plants, I have them in my snail tank. They are very helpful in cleaning the tank, they eat algae, death leaves, death snails, fishfood...
They are very good in leaving the tank and die outside if you don't find them in time.

Whew, thanks! If they are not harmful I will just leave them until they start multiplying and then either do the lettuce thing or get some yoyos.

Looks like the ones that I just gotten to feed my crayfish. Now if they don't eat them I don't know what I'm going to do.

that job calls for a banded loach!

they get 3"-4", can live alone, are fast, and eat snails all the time. when i had my old 20g high planted my banded loach ate all of my snails, there were empty shells allover. hes alive somewhere in my 90g now
