I've done my best cleaning up my wires behind my tank but this for now is as good as it gets. Mounted my power strips to the stand and zip tied excess cord. Any other techniques?

Does 5 cords count? Because that is the most I have behind one tank.

how could you do it all in 5 cords? my lighting alone has 3. You must have filter then heater and thats it.

Not to mention my 2 filters, powerhead, heater, substrate heater, ambient lighting, selinoid,

but you can fit all 3 of yours in mine :c2:
Most of the mess come in play with the timer. Needing to put the solenoid and 2 light plugs into it makes things look much uglier then it should

One most have been super rich guy on my corvette forum had a saltwater tank and need a huge switch unit to control it all. Making no mess because it had a box that had buttons to control on/off of everything. I should get me one of those.

All I can say is WOW! Now I'm even happier that I only have the size tanks that I do. I have a power strip to plug in for each tank. Light, filter, heater, and air pump. A shout out for all of the work that you people do for your hobby. :11:

Between my 10g and 29g I have 6 cords, but 8 cords if you want to count the surger protector for the two filters and two heaters, and extension cord for the two lights so they can be on a timer.

Yeah i know there are some bad ones out there.
Good thing about mine is i don't have cabinets to cover them up so they can only be hidden behind the legs of the stand.

I guess maybe because I have the stand is why mine is done so carelessly. Oh well, the drip loops are all there, it may not look like it, but they are.

sorry to be the class geek here guys but these wiring messes aren't just a laugh to look at, they are also a real fire hazard.

just to be sure, go and buy a smoke detector and sit it on the ceiling above your tank, if you haven't done that already.

I know its all heavy and serious but house fires do happen and those of you with kids will surely not want to imagine life without them..

get a smoke alarm, or two, they are like 5 bucks.
