Hello,

I'm wandering if one Angelfish, kept in a community tank, without having a member of its own species, will be fine or lonely?

Help please!!!

I have two in separate tanks. They hate each other.

I have seen beautiful communities of angels, and have heard horror stories about angels that won't accept a buddy. It always comes down to the tempermant of the fish and the tank itself. What size tank plays a part in aggression issues also.

Lo and behold. I have found one species my angel does not hate and that's the platie. Yesterdays discovery! He even hates tetra's! At least now I can keep other fish with him and he won't be hogging a whole tank to himself.

She is a peaceful three and a quarter inch angel(Chocolate Lace vareity. So would she be lonely kept alone????
