I have a problem and need help!

I've been wanting to talk with my new online friends here for some time about a problem I have and don't know what to do about it. You see, I have an addiction. Hard to believe that a grown woman of 63 years old would have to deal with this or would even have this problem but......sad to say, I do!

I really don't know where to turn at this point. This addiction has taken over my life and I no longer get anything done that I should be doing......like taking showers when I should, doing my housework, shopping, etc. This "problem" has just taken over my entire way of life.

I hardly leave the house, don't visit friends and don't want them to visit me. I am now nearly a total recluse and need to stay home to feed this addiction of mine.

I believe my addiction has escalated because I was up at 6 AM this morning ready for my morning "fix".

My drug of choice: AC COMMUNITY FORUMS!

Please help me!

Well you can go away on vacation! (Got to take me though lol jk) I suggest you spend more time with the fammily maybe go to the movies, go out to eat, etc. have someone steal you away from the computer. Or if worst comes to worst put a timer and you only have say an 1hr to do what ya want. Hope this helps!

I suggest you buy a wireless laptop! :) That way you can bring AC everywhere. For example, you could put the laptop in a clear trash bag while in the shower. If you eliminate the consequences it isn't an addiction. lol

I suggest that you accept that you can't do anything about your addiction and start spreading the drug in your community.

Hey JarHead! LOL It doesn't take long to get addicted to this site. It's pretty darned awesome. Seems I must check in 50 times a day.

I have two Marine sons ....both out now. They always point out to me that they were not once Marines but are always Marines! Thank you for serving our Country! We are all proud of you and what you do for us!!!
