I want 2 say thanks for the replies and the great welcome i recieved... so i found out indeed they are leopard tadpoles... and i was going to take them to the pond but the biggest one has began swimming in my hand and allowing me to hand feed them i havn't had them long but i don't know if i can give them up... would it be cruel of me to keep them in a terrauim? any ideas on stuff they might like.... o yeah... i had a question my guppie has been pregnant forever do u think she might be carrying dead fry?

Well I don't know anything about the tadpoles, so we'll need to wait for someone else with more experience in that area to come along and help.

As for the pregnant guppy, not likely that her fry are dead. They can "hold" the fry for quite some time.

I think a good sized terrarium would be fine. Tadpoles enjoy eating bloodworms too :)

How long is forever? and are you sure she is pregnant? I had 2 platies which i thought were pregnant then suddenly one has some fry and the other i relise is just fat.

If the mother was holding dead fry and didnt release them then they would deteriorate and the mother would die so I doubt that.

Guppies hold the fry for an average of 28 days.

Well, the survival rate for tadpoles in the wild cant be very high at all, so i'd say keeping them is anything but inhumane. ;)
