Well the comment next to the reputation didn't seem like it was meant to be negative? I thought negative brought your rep points down? Thats not cool....lol

May have been made in error. I did that to Drumachine once and I thought I was going to have a heart attack.

Unfortunately no. I just went into the Mod Control Panel and I see what you mean. Had to be an error. The comment doesn't match negative rep. We are able to edit comments but not the rep itself.

I didnt hit the wrong button, someone gave me negative rep, by what looks like an accident. So you were never able to change Drums negative either? That kinda sucks...

Nope, no changes to the actual rep and no deletions, only able to edit the attached comment.

If the user who left you the feedback were to PM me with such a request I will change it for you though. Maybe could read "ERROR, ACCIDENT" or something like that?

Goldbarb a good way to find out is when u see a good post ask them to check their rep before you give them and then after aswell so then they can tell you.

How does that work with the rep points?Do we all give the same amount?I think that when a mod gives them its more.Sorry to hijack,Ive been curious about that for awhile.

The amount of reps you have depends on the amount you give. Mods have a lot of reps thts why you think they give more. Well they do but thats cause they have more reps.

yeah, what you give is based on your rating
when i give rep people say that they get more from me than someone with less rep

I'm not sure if it made my rep go down or not...I really don't pay attention to them by points. I just read them to see that someone found one of my posts worthy of rep points. It was obviously an accident so its okay.

The more positive rep you have, the more positive rep you give. For example, I give out 21 points when I give rep. That number will go up as I accrue more points.

No only other people can get your total reps up.

Say you had 500 and gave say 10
Someone with less say 200 would give less say 5
