Loud Noises and my Blue Ram

Hey Y'all,

quick question....

My roommate is throwing a big Halloween party. There's going to be very loud music and lots of people dancing. I'm worried about my fish- my german blue ram in particular. Do you think that the stress from the loud music and pounding floors will kill him? Is there anything I can do to make this a little easier on my fish?

It might cause some extra stress but I don't believe it will be any problems. You can make sure that you have good water quality in the tank and that he has good hiding spots to help him handle it.

Throw a dark blanket over the tank. Maybe people won't bother them.

I've had a party with excessively loud music, that arvo my big americans were very very grumpy and fighting a little bit, make sure you close doors &/or cover them up - just to be safe. We had our music very very loud though. After that they were fine.

The tank was covered and all the fish made it through the party...I'm very relieved!
