US income taxes Heads up!

Make sure you file as early as you can in order to get the stimulus package offered to all tax payers. If your income tax is filed ON TIME you will get this additional money. You snooze/You loose on this.

I don't pay income tax because I am on disability. But, even if you pay no taxes, you still file to get the stimulous.

I am having my done this week and they told me they would be going back 3 years. No money back from the government but state rebates coming, heat credits and the stimulous package. Dang. Hope I can buy another fish tank!

Woo hoo! I'm glad to hear you get it, mine are filed,refund received and spent already!
I heard last week that the rebate checks would be mailed the second week in May

I just finished my taxes yesterday lol...

The economical stimulus tax is more like an additional fish tank stimulus for the members of this forum lol.....

yeah I just did that calculator....... $1500 I will get back around May 9th....yes!!!!!

it's basically:

$600 per person

+$300 for every child you claimed.

If you filed a joint return, you get $1200 (I hope you split this evenly between the two of you!!)

I believe you had to make over $3000 and less than $75,000 if you filed as an individual to be eligable.
