thinking about trying clowns again but

they die on me, i have had 10 ( not all at once this is how many i bought to keep trying ) and they have all died :-(
now i just love the clowns and really would love to try agin, they are very expensive where i live so i need all the info and stats you can give me so i dont waste money again on them
i am wondering what the water stas to the clowns are
and how much space do they need, i am thinking about the 4ft com tank, but am wondering if i add them would i have just overstocked my 4ft tank?
