Well, I had to take pictures of my new 10g inhabitants! I received my Cherry Shrimp in the mail today, and they're doing great so far! I'm surprised by their courage to wander around so much - my ghosts don't get out that much, and they've been in the tank for a week or so now!!

Well, I'm attaching some pictures for you to see! There are a couple of the Cherry Shrimp, and then there's a couple of one of my Ghost Shrimp. I have a few questions about him -

You can see in one of the picture that there are two little dots on his tail. Is this normal? I don't think my other Ghost Shrimp have this, so I'm a little worried/confused. lol Also, in the other picture, you can see that he has some red on his "feelers" or whatever you want to call them. Is this because he's been eating the fish's flake food or something? Should I be concerned or is it just "something in his diet"? Just thought it wouldn't hurt asking - especially since I was able to get pictures of him.

So, what do you think? You like my Cherries? :19:

Nice pics. Take a look at our "Big Mama" cherry shrimp in our gallery, your females should end up looking like that eventually.

As for the ghost shrimp, it's probably normal. Our amanos have very similar markings on their tails and along their bodies.

Nice shrimp!! I'm wondering if one of my females is pregnant - I've only seen her a couple times, and I think I saw eggs in her. I couldn't get a close look though because she was hiding. That'd be interesting, for sure!!!

Thanks for the info on the ghost shrimp! I wasn't sure if this was abnormal or not - something to worry about or whatever. Good to know that it's normal! Thanks :)
