hey,i was just wondering
after i clean out and cycle my 10g
i was wondering about how many
tetras can i stock in it

i was thinking as followed
5 neon tetras and 5 black neon tetras
and one cory catfish

or 10 neon tetras with live plants


or about how many red-eye tetras will
fit in a 10g?

any help would be appreciated

how about 7 redeye tetras and 5 panda cories?

you could do 5 and 5 of each, although generally i find it looks better to have a larger school of one. Also, cory cats are schooling fish, which i know sounds weird since there bottom dwellers. I would get either 8 neon or black neon tetras and 4 cory catfish. I'm sorry, i'm not familiar with red-eye tetras so i can't help you.

With neons, a big school would be really nice.

As for the cories, get them in groups of 5+ for them to be happy. I'd suggest pygmy cories (Corydoras pigmeaus) in a school of 5-6 with an equal number of neon tetras. Lot's of fish for such a small tank and plenty of activity.

how about some rummy nosed tetras? Those look nice in a school!
