Getting my lazy Kuhli's to eat snails again

Hello all, my 3 Kuhli Loaches are ignoring the 2 different species of snails that are slowly multiplying across my 15g, wheras last year they used to tear them to shreds.

Any ideas or suggestions on what I should/can do?

i didnt think kuhlis ate snails? my four certainly dont!!! i got in some clown loaches for the job. :19:

i dont believe kuhlis eat snails. however, if you want a real snail eater get a banded loach, mine at a few hundred snails a day. banded loaches are about 3"-4", really fast, peaceful, and dont need pairs

lol, i originally bought my banded loach for my old 20g high planted, just as a cleaner. i had a few mystery snails in the tank as pets, a hour later 4 empty snail shells

Problem is...catching the 3 Kuhlis in the tank without having to take everything out of it to get them.

yeah, when you try to net them they always run under a rock or driftwood, the only way to get them is to only have gravel in the tank

why take the kuhlis out? id leave them in there...

Eh, I'd rather take 'em out as they aren't performing.

With my current load, could I add one Weather Loach, do you think?

Whoops, I meant a Banded Loach - do I have enough room in my 15g for one Banded Loach? (scrap the Weather Loach, don't know where that came from...)
