I found a new LFS today right next to my work, and the owner was selling huge zoa colonies for $40 each.
I couldn't resist getting one and I fragged it up for my 12g tank. I think I am going to take one purple zoa frag. and my sinularia coral, and put them in my work tank. The sinularia should have more room to grow because my work tank is a lot taller than my cube. Pics:

Actually, that big piece in the 3rd photo is only a frag of the whole piece, lol.
I broke it up into 5 smaller frags. The original piece was the size of an eggplant. #5 is pretty tiny, but it should spread over that whole rock eventually.

OMG your sinularia has gotten HUGE!!! ^^^.
You sure did snag those zoas for a great deal. At my lfs, they would've been $75!!

That's insane. There is only one store near me that sells corals and none of them i've seen are anywhere near the size of what that would have been unfragged for that price.

I really had a hard time choosing. He had 4 different rocks that were just about the same size, for about the same price.
I ended up choosing this one because it looked healthiest, and I liked the colors a lot. There was one rock that was a little smaller that had CRAZY colors and it was $45. I am sure it will take all of my will power to keep from going in there and buying it!

I am in my Connecticut Reef Club and I get 15% off at my LFS. I am getting the plug for $24. Not bad at all, I think it will grow really good in my tank. I need to get some more pics up here but that tank is so outgrown now, the corals are huge. I just need money to set up my 29 :c11:

That is a good deal for oranges. I think the best I have seen them for is $30, and that is from a local frag farmer.

Sorry it took so long to get back, I didn't see the thread update!
The LFS in question is Total Fish and Pets in Monterey Park. I went the other day, and they barely had anything. I think you have to go there after they get in a shipment.
