Could it go in a community which has zebras and guppies

He will probably snack on a few but it can happen. They will eat what ever can go in their mouth but they stay at the top of the tank unless startled. I have one with 9 corys.

Tiger barbs are very nippy, and with the elaborate finnage of butterflys, they would be picked on a lot.

i used to keep dozens of butterfly's, and most were fine in community tanks

Mollies, platys, tetras, and corys are some that can go with them.

I have heard of some people having problems feeding their butterflys...although crickets seem to the be the best...in this case I think your guppies and all would prove to be some good food for these guys. As for possible tank mates, I have talked to some people the have sevrums as tank mates...just as long as you provide enough floating cover for the butterfly's, they should be fine I think...
