Last time I checked snoring wasn't a bad habit. Its bad, but not a habit.

Smoking also. I don't do anything but smoke so that would have to be it. But..........I developed a new habit when I attempted to stop smoking which is nawing on my bottom lip! And that has continued and it drives even me nuts.

I don't know if its a bad habit, more of a quirk I guess. Anyway, whenever I turn on or off the lights, I close my eyes. Its only for like, half a second, and I have no idea why. I've been doing it for as long as I can remember. Kinda weird but, whatever, haha.

Don't worry i have a wierd quiork too .... When i wake up i tend to start making loads of noises, just random noises that i can make. they get louder the more i wake up.

Well, before I smoked and drank for no reason, then thanks to my wife and kids I got one!

LOL, no, seriously, I gave up drinking, thank god! But I still smoke. I don't want to, but can't seem to stop. I figure if I want it bad enough, I will quit. All that hype about stop smoking tablets, pills, gums, hypnosis, and all the other stuff doesn't work. Why? Because you are not ready to quit yet. When you want to, you'll quit.

So hopefully, before it kills me, I will quit.

i think it would be my smoking but my boys would say its my nagging , by constantly telling them to put their dirty laundry in their rooms not the living room and to turn lights off and keep doors closed in the house , ( puppy's not house trained yet )

I would have to say my bad habit would be eating two suppers. I usually come home for a few hours after I teach. I grab a bite to eat at that time, and then I go back out for meetings and such. I then eat when I get back home later that evening - which doesn't help me lose the 20 lbs I want off.

Hrm... I thought of a couple more! I correct people when they talk. If they something that's not right, I'll say the right word. My fiance hates that!

Also when I get home from work, instead of hanging up my dress clothes, I chuck them up on top of the highback. She hates that too! I guess I drive kinda fast also. And procrastinate.

Also, when I get bored, I'll fidgit. I'l click the tv remote battery top on and off. tap things. Stuff like that.

I'd have to say picking at scabs...I've had acne since I was 12 (and still have 'adult' acne), and even if I try, I just can't seem to leave well enough along - totally subconscious though, every time I'm aware I'm doing it, I stop. Even the kids nag about it...

We must be related, the insides of my cheeks are always bitten up, I pick at the corners of my thumbs(I dont have enough hair to twirl but If I did I would definatly do that), I cuss alot but I work in a factory, My problem is actually washing my laundry I put it off untill I Dont have any socks and underwear and I bought alot of those so I can go for awhile lol. I crack almost every bone in my body that cant be good for me.

I also let stuff get cluttered before I clean it up(my gf hates that). and I sit on this website too much lol.

Im a horrible speller too, I hated english, I have a bad short and long term memory and I think I have a little bit of dislexia Im always mixing up letters when I spell, I wont add the first letter or im really bad if the last letter in the word before has the same letter as the word im spelling as in (I hatE English) I always skip the e of the second word.

im with you on the swearing thing demi. i had this bf years ago now, we was all drinking and playing the sony (not a good combo for me) and we all were very involved in the game and were all swearing at each other, but this bf of mine decided I was too loud and thought hed tell me so "um could you stop swearing" my response "F&%! OFF" i know i shouldnt have been rude but i was at MY house swearing at MY brother!!!! lets just say i wasnt impressed, and i dont need to say we dont go out together anymore either! we are still friends though cause he knows whatever i say goes lol :laugh1blue:

Oh almost forgot this really odd habit of mine! I fiddle with my nuckle and elbow skin...weird i know, but ever since I was a baby I used to fiddle with my nuckle skin and elbow skin. I did it to my dad too! Mum said I would be in dads arms for ages, playing with his nuckles and elbow LOLOLOL!

LOL...I don't swear very often, I think it really cheapens your 'talk' and I've tried hard to make my kids 'not swear' - by not allowing it to become a habit - at least in the home.
